Carly and Sophie are out shopping when they bump into Carly’s friend - and Sophie’s ex-boyfriend - Andrew. Events throw these three together in a way they never expected and their friendships are tested to the limit.

The world they live in is one of constant menace – war, terrorism, epidemics. Government anti-terrorist warnings have been increasing, new regulations infringe civil liberties and there is a boom in survival manuals.
